A very meaningful email which I just gotta share :o)

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way."

I wrote: "Today is a beautiful day but I cannot see it."

Both signs told people that the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people that they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.

I'm sorry my dear readers (if there is any) that I've been neglecting my blog.

Okay, back to the topic.

What realization is that, if you may ask, is actually for me to be Chinese-literate. I realized how useless I am when I don't know what's Sarawak is in Chinese. Shame! When I can't read any elementary standard story books. Shame! When it's hard to catch up with some of my friends who flaunts in Mandarin so well. Shame!

When a 10 year old kid shook his head when I said I don't understand a thing he read from the newspaper. Shame!

I'm gonna get a mini Chinese dictionary to study. I know this wont curb it but at least a try to improve my pool of vocabulary which of course need a lot of encouragement from the people around me. Speaking of which ;

Me : Hey! You used to have a mini Chinese dictionary right? Where is it !

Morris : Was inside the bag stolen along with the laptop that time. Why.

Me : Ohh nvm then, I suddenly thought of being Chinese-literate. Ambitious isn't it? *grin*

Morris : You mean your temporary ambition.

So much for encouragement from blood sibling.

DD: I'm sad I cant read & write in Mandarin. haha.

I also think I need to attend intensive English class or something. There's plenty of room for me to improve my English so I can write beautifully for once. sigh.

Hmmm I'm good recently, could have been whole lot better but well you know life pleases itself more by adding damns into it.

So I've been planning a great birthday gift for Mum as her birthday is next month. Of course, she opposes all sorts of fancy gifts and diner places. But I have a great idea what to get her that isn't fancy/dear and yet deep meaningful =) Man! I'm proud of me ideas sometimes. haha! Niways, I have discussed with my brothers bout it and they don't wanna admit it but they know it's a pretty damn good idea. heh! Much work need to be done starting next week onwards I guess (it's quite a long process I think), and special thanks to a certain someone who is very much willingly to put them all together. ;)

As random as I can be, I think I was meant to be a starfish. =S

A lot has happened and the passed weeks/ months even can be described in one word - farq. I put up a strong character on the outlook but then bearing tremendous pain inside. urghh urghh emo statement.

Ahhh I have a major-wanna-impress-them interview tomorrow precisely at 2pm. By the sponsors.
This interview has been postponed twice so I took it for granted and just laid back - Didn't Study!

They are going to ask a whole lot of questions bout Offshore Engineering to see whether they have wasted their investment in us or not. HAHA I seriously doubt they think I am worth the penny. HAHA!

The other day, I finished class earlier but apparently I didn't dash back home as I normally would. I actually sat alone at the cafeteria gazing into nothing again. Sipping some Chocolate Twister mambo jumbo while thinking absolutely nothing. There were not much students around as it's tuition free week for most students. That's actually a good thing, I don't like crowd. Sat there for almost 40 minutes starring from perspectives. I didn't know why either. Odd I know.
Then my senses finally kicked in yelling "Get your arse homeeee!!" Blur-ness snapped but I was simpering.

Hah ! I'm hardly in this waiting-for-God-knows-what mode. But I guess it was due to I finally finished my oral questionnaires for my current chapter which was hell. My Godddddd ! Questioning one about pumping system and equipment on platform are absolute torture. For now. But I'll make it pay in the future ;) . Dream Big. Now that's a promise. ;)

Art is a passion of colour expressions. There are many of famous artists out there today each has their own pespective of fine art. There's abstract, cubism, expressionism, fauvism, impressonism, pointillisim, postimpressionism (still life), primitivism, realism, surrealism, and the list goes on.

One of the legendary artist whom i personally like is Vincent Van Gogh. Sadly he was only much appreciated as an artist only after his death (suicide) at the age of 37. In his life, he had worked many jobs before becoming a full-time artist, such as at an art gallery, a school, a bookstore, as a preacher, and at last, he became an artist. Vincent Van Gogh had a rather miserable and gloomy life, he was unhappy at most and so initially his drawings were all sad. He painted sad paintings with poor people in them. His paintings were always very dark until he saw some colorful Japanese paintings. Then Van Gogh started painting happier paintings. Most of his work was in Postimpressionist style.

Van Gogh was a man who needed serious help. He had mental illness. He suffered from various types of epilepsy, psychotic attacks, and delusions. One such episode entailed Vincent pursuing Gauguin (another artist who Vincent was acquainted with) with a knife and threatening him intensely. Later that day, Vincent returned to their house and mutilated his left ear, then offered it to a prostitute as a gift. Vincent was temporarily hospitalized and released to find Gauguin swiftly leaving Arles and his dream of an artistic community shattered.

Vincent viewed his life as horribly wasted, personally failed and impossible. On July 27, 1890 Van Gogh attempted suicide by shooting himself in the chest. He survived, but died two days later from the wound.

In his brief artist life, he had painted many amazing paintings but only 1 painting was sold. He was in a very dark period where he thought he's a failure and nobody sees him as an artist. After his death, his brother's wife collected most of his paintings and dedicated her life to getting the deceased Van Gogh's recognition he deserved. She published his works and he came famous instantly. His reputation has been growing since.

The story of Vincent van Gogh's tragic life, filled with mental evils and artistic triumphs , lingers almost becoming that of legend. His work is still astounding millions around the world daily, and though he sold only one painting in his life, his influence on the outcome of art has been amazing and overwhelming. His paintings have reached new records when sold for hundreds of millions of dollars, and his persona has sparked number one hit songs. Vincent van Gogh has altered mankind forever... and he believed his life was a terrible failure!

Done with the drawing and initiate the painting.

Messy table and dirty palette are what it takes.

Left the mountains for the finishing touch. I personally adore the sky. :)

Was rather disappointed with the mountains. I did patheticly on them. Oh well, at least the entire piece is finished. And I'm not disappointed until the extend of mutilating my left ear off :$

So a smart aleck sees this sign and decided to test how true this restaurant's sign can be.
No doubt, he goes into the restaurant with a mischievious attempt.

Smart aleck : So you guys serve everything? Anything I want?

Waiter : Yes sir. That's right.

Smart aleck : Oh really? (right eyebrow arched up) All right, I normally have fish and chips BUT now i would like to have roast elephant with chips!! I'm sure you can serve that right?! (In a sarcasm tone)

Waiter : Yes sir. I'll be back with your dish.

15 minutes later the same waiter comes out looking rather a bit disappointed.

Smart aleck : What's the matter? Can't get me an elephant eh? (With a wide grin across his face)

Waiter : No sir. That's not it. I'm sorry to inform you that we are out of chips. Very sorry.

Ahoy Matey, it has been a while since we posted smth. lols~ tatsu was busy with exams ba... and i was busy with assignments and quizes.. heh!

Lol some of you guys might wonder.. why his name in IC is Tang Tung Weg where as everyone calls him Tung Wei.. haha it is because there's a typo on his birth certificate..lols.. wei --> weg . someone miss-spelled his name! can u imagine? If your name happened to be miss-spelled too?

Hmm this guy here master in bullshit-ing..haha! serious~~ if there were happen to be a bullshit debate i bet he'll be the ultimate best speaker! But it is nice to have him around.. he will only talk to the ppl he is close with.. otherwise need to use a jack to open his mouth. And he doesnt want to speak english~ even if we happen to dine at McDonald's.. he would ask ppl to order for him as he doesnt wanna speak english..yeah to that extend.. but in text messaging or msn.. can chat in english superrrrr kick can bilibala this and that, makes u wonder whether tats ahwei or not.. haha!

Ahoy matey, welcome to our humble blog =).

This blog won't be bout our everyday life as my life and Dragon's are rather dull and monotonous. So we'll blog whatever that we find interesting or bizzare? And we'll generously share with you readers out there =D heh, after all sharing is loving, aint it? But we're totally new in this blogging stuff so our blog aint gonna be fancy smanshy, as the matter in fact we're total Tenderfoot as it took us days to get a hang on how blog works. Yea we admit, we're slow.

Am a Vertically Challenged Girl. I can shop till dusk and play till dawn. I can be bold and a daredevil at times but normally I'll just lay back. One major thing I absolute loathe is - Caterpillars, makes the hair at the back of my neck stand. I have a sweet tooth, i mean a whole set of sweet teeth so cakes, chocs & ice-creams are irresistable to me. I can't sing (duck voice) if I were to sing I'll make ppl's eardrums tear ~ ouch!
